Countdown

Everyone is making plans to party this sat, one of the major event besides Xmas day. I am just contented to stay at home and count down the new year with my loved ones. My partying days are over, of course, I do missed the old days where we used to party almost every weekends reaching home around 4 or 5 am after supper. Waking up only in the late afternoon (sometimes evening) before heading out again. My favourite countdown parties were when we partied & danced on the streets of Orchard Road, a remake of Swing Singapore and the 98.7FM countdown party at Suntec Fountain (the roundabout road was closed too!).

Those were my days but now things are different with a family, I would rather spend sombre quality time at home rather than wasting it away.

Anyway these are my New Year resolution for 2006:

A new car
A plasma tv
A bigger paycheck & bonuses
Shopping, shopping & shopping
Strike 1st prize in Toto or 4D
Endless visit to spa & hair salon
A tummy tuck
Holidays at exotic countries

NAH.. there are better things to pray & wish for:

Cure for AIDS, diabetes & cancer
World Peace (No more terrorism & war!!)
Racial Harmony
Better feed & life in third world country (Africa etc)
No more weird epidemic outbreaks (bird flu, mad cow disease, SARS etc)
No more natural disasters (earthquakes, tsunami, flood, drought)
No more corruption (Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia etc)
No more BUSH (have enough of that pretentious liar)
No more OSAMA or AL QAEDA craps (they and bush should burn in hell)

To be able to wake up (healthy & happy) everyday with your loved ones and do the things I am able to perform are all I ask for from His Almighty. ……Amin . . .

King Kong

We went to catch the movie, KING KONG, last friday since our co announced it's going to be a half day. Yippee! We are supposed to watch Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire but it has since been taken down the big screen. BOO!! Thus, the only choice is KING KONG.

The show is GREAT! It was so exhilarating that I couldn't stop commenting on the show after it ended. I was screaming from the part the dinosaurs were fleeing to the ending (usually I don't even do that if I watch horror movies). The worst is when the main character, KING KONG, was shot down after saving his couldn't-do-anything-but-crying lady (Naomi Watts) several times, I cried my eyes out even when the credits were rolled out. My eyes were red and sore that I tried to avoid eye contact and was telling my hubby to leave the cinema immediately. So Paiseh!

Peter Jackson is damn good! From the strings of blockbuster movies, The Frighteners to the Lord of the Rings, Jackson have once again proved his directing skills. He delivers the thrills, actions and tears in every movies he directed. Worth watching. Don't buy the DVD and watch at home, watch it in the cinema!! You will feel your adrenaline shooting up!

My loss

I decided to visit my skin doc last week, seeing that my 'itching" condition has gotten worse. The doc have the cheek to charge me $94 for a bar of soap, creams & moisturizer?? I am your regular patient leh. Damn! i feel like smacking him with the standing lamp and my bag. But I must, my "itching" problem went off the next day, the itch has gone but the skin patch is still healing slowly. I should seen him earlier but because the stupid GP told me that the itch is caused by fungal infection which in fact is caused by an allergy reaction. I even went to him twice because the first cream doesn't work and the cream make me scratch even more. Luckily, I went to my co's GP and thus save tons of $$, maybe not tons but at least $100. *phew*

Anyway, I am suppose to join my cousin and my sister on a driving trip to Genting this weekend. Being the long weekend/holidays, all accommodations in Malaysia are fully booked (next weekend also) but my cousin managed to get rooms at First World. I was quite excited about the trip as I last went when I was only 8. Hai!...that's was 10 years ago.. hahaha..plus another 7 years lah...

My hubby is a spoiler. He didn't want to go because he's not so fond of/close to my cousins (so??) and beside his dad is in the hospital now (this I understand). So we are staying put in town this Xmas!

My rash

I am feelin like shit! My stupid rash has decided to revisit me again! Yah, I have sensitive skin and wearing cheapo jewellery means I am heading for trouble necky. Which also means I can request from others a real GOLD or PURE SLIVER necklace/earrings .. ahem...so you get the HINT??

DAMN..I need to see the stupid skin doc soon. I have already spent a bomb buying all the useless skin lotions and creams that are supposed to ease the irritation but.. NO.. I am still scratching like a monkey.. hoo..hoo..especially *shiok* when I did it when I am asleep but when I got up in the morning, all I can see are *lovemarks* on my necky.

I dunno why the Australians are making such a big hooha over the Nguyen Tuong Van's case. A law is a law if not why do we impose on that?? My bad, but threatening us on their boycotting of our goods and services and even withdrawing the trade sanctions will not change our mind.
